University of Colorado Sr Professional Research Asst in Colorado Springs, Colorado

TheCollege of Educationat theUniversity of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS)invites applications for a part-time (50%) Senior Professional Research Assistant. The successful candidate will be involved in implementation of all aspects of research related to the National Professional Development Grant Project. The Senior Professional Research Assistant will engage in research and program evaluation activities such as statistical, qualitative and quantitative analysis and interpretation. Responsibilities also include assisting with project data management, such as coordination of internal and external scheduling related to project data tasks and analysis. The Research Senior Professional will work closely with Co-Principal Investigators, Project Director, Lead Supervisor, Data Manager, Coaches and external evaluator to monitor grant activity related to research and data analysis.

The annual salary for this 50% position is $30,000.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • MA in TESOL or closely related field

  • at least 12 months of experience in analyzing data from various sources

  • at least 12 months of experience with MS Office suite

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Doctoral degree in education or closely related field

  • at least three years of experience in program evaluation and research, including research conceptualization and evaluation planning, design, data collection, data management and analysis and pulling, merging and joining data from various systems

  • at least 12 months of experience with statistical analysis and interpretation

  • at least 12 months of experience conducting qualitative research and analysis
